With Love

Awhile ago I had cleaned out all this stuff from my laundry room. See that white basket? In there I found a few years worth of Valentine/Christmas cards from the girls' school parties.

That prompted me to take those cards & finally DO something with them. I think way back when, I had planned on scrapping them & making some sort of pocket page to include the cards...but we're talking 5 years worth of cards so I made this simple.

For some reason I always have a hard time when it comes to single pic LO's. So I flipped through Laura's blog looking for something that would work & sure enough she came always! You can see her original LO here, I stuck to the design & was pretty happy with how easy & quick this came together.
Bet you're wondering what I did with the Valentine cards I mentioned earlier. To make this easy (meaning less work) I used these pocket pages & simply slid the cards into the pockets. Some of the cards are doubled up front & back to take up less space. Since I had a lot of scraps left over I made a card. The metal sign says "Hug", I figure this could be for anyone & not necessarily a "Valentine" or "Love" card.
Had a hard time taking a pic of the card. The paper is sort of shiny/metallic so there's a glare to the pic. Looks better IRL.
