Today was Marissa's Holiday party at school. The class had so much fun playing games & eating treats. They played games like musical chairs only they passed a "present" & when the music was paused the kid who had the present got to unwrap it...then they'd pass it around again & the next kid who got it would open the box....which had another box inside! This continued for awhile until they got to this teeny tiny box & inside there was a note saying each kid got a goodies bag. Fun for all!
They also played a math game disguised as "building a snowman". They had 2 teams & each kid had to answer a math fact, whichever team got the right answer would add a piece to the snowman until he was all assembled. The teacher loved this game--the kids all look terrorized when it was their turn!
They were all buzzed from the cupcakes & brownies I brought in....then went to work it off in gym class. Their teacher was lucky not to be subjected to the sugar madness that was going on!

fun, fun, fun...i'm so bummed that g's teacher this year didn't really do anything. last year i was at school 2 or 3 times a month...this year NOT at all. stinks!
