Autograph Album

OK, so it's no surprise this is about Disney. The surprise may be that it's an autograph album from 2008!!

The nice thing about this album is that I didn't buy a single thing to make it. Adhesive not included. ;) The scary thing about this album is that I still have enough stuff to make more albums....many many more!! AACCKK!!! I can't believe how much stuff I have horded....it's a sickness!

You might be wondering why do I have so many autograph albums to do since we go to Disney all the time & I'll tell you. Each trip we take we run into different characters. Yes, there are the basic characters that are a must-see each trip (Mickey & the gang), but there are some characters that are hard to find (Daisy Duck) & others we see sporadically (Kim Possible). So each album is different. The girls love looking back at the characters they met & re-living the memories. I like seeing them grow as they pose with the characters.

I have pics of the girls with Prince Charming & through the years I've noticed they go through phases. When they're younger they want nothing to do with him, then they'll pose with him only if Daddy is in the pic, until finally they're ok with a quick pic. It's fun to reminisce with simple things like that.

It's also fun to see how quiet & somewhat scared of Cinderella's step-mother they are. Joe thinks I could give her a run for her money. My dirty looks are legendary. ;)

In the last album I did, I didn't included characters that couldn't sign the girls' books. This album I did. I wanted them to remember it all, autograph or not. Besides, how cute are Mike & Sulley from Monster's Inc.?? We found this camel wandering around in Adventureland during the Pirate & Princess party in the Magic Kingdom. She didn't sign & we never got her name but it was fun anyway.
Instead of breaking out another album I figured I'd take a break so the pages won't look the same. Though I'll try not to take so long before I do the next album! ;)

A Little Tease....

I finally finished the project that's been on my desk since the beginning of July!! It was going good, I was knocking out the pages a few a day but then all of a sudden I had to slow it down. I had other things I needed to get done around here. Today I attempted to take pics of the album but looking through them I'm not thrilled. I'm going to try again tomorrow. In the meantime here's a teaser!

For Sale

Last year I was caught up with the Project 365 kit from Becky Higgins. I took a pic each day & journaled almost the whole year. (guilty!!) When her new kit came out I had some hesitations about doing it again but one of my sisters sounded interested in it so when the new kits came out I bought 2. Thinking it would be fun to do together.

Well it's July 2010 & both kits are sitting in my dining room un touched (mostly). One kit is slightly put together in the album but not used & the other kit is the way it came. So after some thought I've decided on selling them. The asking price is $35.00 plus shipping.

Those Cheeks

Hard to remember how long ago I started this LO but it's been laying on my desk since sometime in June. Just waiting around for me to add the journaling which was not coming to me. Finally last night I decided it needed to be put away before something happened & came up with the journaling.


These pics are really old....Marissa was just 7 months old!!! We had just celebrated Christmas & Joe had given me my first digital camera. These pics are the first ones taken with the camera....
I wasn't sure how to tie all these random pics together until I saw Laura's LO in the CK Tips & Tricks magazine. Then it clicked & I pulled out some old KI Memories papers for this.

Doing this LO put me in the mood to pull out some more old pics of the girls. Just printed some & have some ideas rolling around in my head....hope to bring it together soon, after I'm done with the other project on my desk. Which is going much faster than I thought it would. Will be sharing that soon!! ;)

So the other morning I was watching a how-to video by Nichol when Marissa stumbled in & started watching with me. She was really getting into too so I asked her if she wanted to make a card & she jumped at the chance!

I pointed out some stamps & cleared off some room for her & let her at it. She's really into owls too (Thank you Harry Potter), so when she spotted these stamps & saw it had a birthday message she went for it. Her BFF Ariel is having her b-day party this week so she decided it would be perfect for her.


I gave her just a few pointers, but otherwise she made this herself. She's really proud of herself too....and so am I! ;)

Birthday Card Set

Awhile back I saw these cards on Nichol's blog & was quickly enabled (not that it takes much!!!). I ordered the stamp set from Stampin' Up & then somehow they got put away & forgotten about.

Recently I came across them again & made a point to make the cards. The papers are from MM Spring Fling & I made the cards approx 4x4. Just something to have handy when I need a quick card.



Then since I stamped a few extra flower centers I threw them on this card & called it done. Nothing crazy fancy but it works.

Lovin these lately...

Just for fun....here are some things I am lovin lately....

Ummmm, if you know anything about me you know this needs no explanation. I've read it 3 times already!!

I love having my most used supplies within arm's reach! At 1st I wasn't sure about 2 of them on my desk but they held everything that I had in drawers (with the exception of ink pads). They don't take up more room than the drawers used to so I'm happy......but don't ask me about the 3rd one I have stashed!! ;) It might be finding a nice spot to hold the girls' stuff.....Ever since the day we were visited by our owl, I find myself collecting owl things...like I needed another thing to collect. I don't grab everything I see but I see myself spotting them more & more....and if they're cute they come home with me!
Scored these at Michael's yesterday for 99 cents. And they are HUGE! They had 4 packs left....guess how many I brought home? ;)
Well I don't LOVE these exactly, but they are comfortable & I can wear them without my back hurting while wearing flip flops. And if you ever see me out wearing something besides these PLEASE don't laugh at the crazy tan lines on my feet!!! ;)
