December 3rd
Went out today to do more Christmas shopping. I had gone out yesterday to Target & Kohl's & got a lot done, which made me feel better. I've been panicing & feeling overwhelmed that I'm so far behind, even though it's only Dec 3.
My main goal today, was to finish shopping for all the kids. Mission accomplished! Feels good to cross that off the list. I went back to Target though to get the girls the toys that Joe & I decided to get them for Christmas. I've been to Target twice in 2 days. Gotta love Target! I even scored some MM Fa la la--yes!!
After coming home to empty out my truck, I headed out to Best Buy. I was on a mission to cross of some more people on my list, namely Joe.
Joe's a big movie watcher. He doesn't have any hobbies, but if watching movies (namely action) could be a hobby this would be his.
Joe & I are big fans of Jeff Dunham. We've got a couple of his specials on DVD & they just never get old. If you've never seen him on Comedy Central then let me help you out....
(just make sure the kids aren't around due to the language)
Are you done laughing?? Can you breathe?? "My name is Jose Jalepeno.....on a steeck."
So I found out that he came out with a Christmas special & I had to get that for Joe.

So tonight as Joe & I are discussing what to get my sister Chet for her 30th birthday this weekend I broke down & gave him the DVD.

While we're on the subject--sorta
After bringing up "The Lion King" in my last post, I started messing around & found this. One of my FAVORITE scenes from the movie!
In case you haven't noticed I have nothing to post about so I'm entertaining you with these little nuggets of FUN!
Technically I DO have something to share but I've been busy cleaning the house for my "Close to my Heart" party this Sat. It seems like I clean a room before I can actually CLEAN a room!! KWIM?? A long tedious process--bleh!!

So Marissa has a music show this month with the second grade class. It's got a whole "Jungle Theme" to it. Today she tells me they're singing this song
"In the Jungle, the mighty jungle,the lion sleeps tonight."
So I start singing it with her & I think I shocked her that I knew it too. I also pulled up online the original song by "The Tokens" for her.
Then since I am a Disney Fanatic & I also like to amaze my daughter with my endless knowledge of insignificant stuff, I pulled this up.
