12 on 12 December

Is it really 12-12-12 already??  I am so happy that I decided to do this monthly project this year, of all years.  I mean 12-12-12!!  It's the last time we'll see something like this in our lifetime!  How cool is that??

The day starts with Zonko lounging in the Button Tree forest.  He must be taking it easy today.

Of course on a day like this the weather needs to be recorded.  The Swackett app is a fun to do that.  Makes me wish I had a pink coat.

12-12-12 at 12:12pm.  I set an alarm on my phone so I wouldn't forget.  HA!

Gotta find a spot for all the everyday stuff while the Christmas decorations are out.

Been slowly getting Christmas cards in the mail, today was a 3 letter day!

Gianna kept me company while we waited for Marissa at the orthodontist.

Saw someone on Instagram post a crazy bokeh effect of their tree by taking a picture while moving the phone.  Love the whirly effect of the lights!

Gianna wanted all sprinkles.  I needed a giftcard.  Marissa wanted two donuts.  Guess what I almost left without buying?  I am losing my mind!

Marissa went with green bands for her braces in honor of Christmas.  She likes to match the holidays.

If you see me drinking tea, then you know I'm not feeling good.  Marissa shared her germs with me.

How I amuse myself & the girls every year.  Elf yourself is now a free app.  GO ELF YOURSELF!

Love Adam Sandler on the 12-12-12 concert for Sandy relief.  "Sandy screw ya!", LOVE IT!!

Almost sad to see this end, but it's been a fun year!

12 on 12 November

Is this really November's 12 on 12? Is there really just one month left to this year?  It flew by a lot faster than I like.

On my way to Shop Rite there was crazy dense fog.  Very hard to see through in some areas.

Did a little damage today.  Got clothes for everyone but me.  I'm keeping the Kohl's cash for myself!

Still re-stocking the fridge & freezer.  Today has been a total errand day.

Still catching up on laundry.  Grateful to be able to do it from home instead of lugging it to a laundromat, which I thought I was going to do during the power outage.

She's modeling the clothes I got her today.  She loved them all!  Not all clothes should be hand-me-downs.  She needs some new items that are just hers.

Needed an afternoon pick me up.  So tired and no time for a nap.

Under attack from fruit flies.  Trying out a trap I found on Pinterest.  Hoping it works, since they're bugging me. HA!

Making flash cards to help Marissa study for her vocabulary test.  These words are hard for sixth graders!

Re-discovered some never been used fun stamps for my Project Life album.

All ready for bed.  She really needs a room makeover.  She looks too tiny in her bed.

Spent some time printing pics for Project Life while having gummi bears.  I eat the red ones first since they're my least favorite, saving the yellow & green for last.

Filling in pages of my 30 Days of Thanks mini album.  Keeping it very simple just so I can keep up with it.  I don't have a lot of time to get fancy with it right now.

This month was hard.  I was so busy with normal, boring stuff that towards the end of the day I realized I wasn't close to having my 12 pics.  It was a very boring Monday.

12 on 12 October

The twelfth of the month seems to come quick lately.  I could swear we just did September!

Gianna always make sure to change the sign when I leave the house.

They always make me wait in the parking lot even though I went through the drive-thru.  What's the point??

Let's get this over with before I talk myself out of doing it.  Not in the mood to workout but when am I??

Had just enough time to start my October Project Life page.  Feels good to be caught up since i started 2 months behind.

Happy Mail!  Love the cover, hope the inside is as inspiring.

Future Pinterest addict.  She's going to be so mad that I instagrammed her! Bonus--she matches my scraproom!

Finished the Lost Hero...again...working on re-reading the series so I can "borrow" the 3rd book from Marissa.

Got Gianna her own album for her scrapbook layouts.  She was so happy!

Joe brought home fresh Cinnabons for the girls...then took them out to dinner, leaving me home alone.  Love that man!!

"Owl" ready for bed.  Comfy, cozy in my pj's since 7pm.

Marissa likes to hide under my scrap table.  She doesn't realize that I am part ninja when it comes to taking pics.  Gotcha!!

Been trying to find a program in my computer so I can print small 2.5x2.5 ish pics on a sheet of paper without it getting cut off.  Bleh.  I need to learn photoshop.

Can you believe just a couple more months until the end of the year??  Some days I think I took on too much doing both 12on12 and Project Life.  Then as I look through the album I realize it's worth it...though I miss doing 12x12 LO's...need to squeeze that in better.

12 on 12 September

September 12 on 12?  Already?  Seriously??  I can't get over how fast the year is going.

The mornings start with dropping Gianna off at school.  This year it's just her and I in the drop off lane.  Marissa goes to school earlier & Joe drops her off.  I like the earlier time only for the fact that after Marissa leaves for school, Gianna & I have some quiet time together.  No more leaving the house in a mad panic to get to school on time.  We are READY!

This might not look it but I spent some un-planned time cleaning/organizing the pantry this morning.  I like the progress I made.

Time for a mid morning treat before I get super hungry& get the shakes.  I know it's not the healthiest, but I felt like I earned it this morning.

I haven't seen this much of the dining room table since Christmas.  This is the least used room in the house, unless you count using it as a dumping ground.  I can't stand this room. Blah.

Suck it up, buttercup.  I like a nice, freshly vacuumed floor.

The day flew, and now it's time to pick up Gianna from school.  Today it's her turn to get picked up first.

We're meeting Marissa at the public library today, she walked over after school.

Can't leave the library without a handful of good books!  Gianna is a huge fan of Dan Gutman & loves reading his books.

Reading time consists of 2 big pillows & a towel to keep her warm.  This is after a failed attempt at reading outside laying on the grass--too buggy she said.  Only my kid.

Going leopard print for Back to School night at Marissa's school.

Chet is the girls' favorite babysitter...she lets them get away with murder!!

Middle school back to school night.  We get to follow Marissa's schedule and meet all her teachers.  Sounds fun!

12 on 12 August

My twelve pics for August were a bit easier this month, though not at first.  I didn't take my first pic until the afternoon.  Having the Olympics on helped a bit, so did running errands with the family.

My little birdie built a nest to watch TV.

Watching Italy play Croatia in water polo.  Never thought I'd watch water polo but I was amazed at how they swam with the ball...without drowning. ;)  Sadly Italy did not win.

Took inventory of my printer ink.  I am in desperate need of yellow.  Gotta take a ride to Staples.

Marissa playing "Sum Dog", the school summer math learning game.

Staples run!

We bought some school supplies without having the list from their teachers since there are a lot of sales now & we won't get the lists for awhile yet.  We also bought Marissa her lock for her gym locker so she would have time to practice the combination beforehand.

We had to return a bathing suit Marissa had gotten that didn't fit right & were on the lookout for high top Converse sneakers.  Luckily we found her size (in the boys section) & with the credit for the suit & coupons her sneakers cost us only $15.00!  Nice!!

We opted to have dinner out & went to Chili's.  I tried these Crispy tacos for the first time & they were so good!  Sweet & spicy, just my thing!

Joe's not a fan of having his pic taken.  He told me to stick a fork in it.  For me that's just not an option, especially on the 12th of the month! ;)

Marissa & I were really into watching the closing ceremonies of the 2012 Summer Olympics.  Gianna would come & watch from time to time but Marissa & I watched the whole thing.

My scraproom gets very chilly with the AC so I got cozy in sweatpants & slippers.  I forgot I had these slippers & thought they were appropriate for watching the Olympics.

The Lowering of the Torch was beautifully done.  I love that each country was represented with a tube &  gets to keep one of the tubes.

These pics should probably get an album of their own but they get scrapped very simply & go into my Project Life album.  The album is getting very full.  I've been adding so many extra pics with inserts.  I have a bad feeling that I will be spilling over into a second album for the year.  The OCD in me hates that, yet the artsy side of me thinks of how memorable this year has been & it's been fun documenting it all.
